We are seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our Mayo Clinic owned regional medical center. The Mayo Clinic Health System - Southwest Minnesota Region is comprised of 23 clinics and 6 hospitals in southern Minnesota. Our growing regional practice serves a population of 300,000+. We have 270 (and growing) practicing physicians and mid-levels employed by our organization in Mankato and community medical centers throughout the region. We are the site of the Rural Family Practice Residency for the University of Minnesota.
Practice Opportunity Details
- The position is split between our Mankato ED: 30,000 visits and our Fairmont ED: 10,000 visits
- 10 hour shifts with 11 shifts being full-time, double and triple coverage in Mankato. New ED to be completed in Mankato late summer 2011
- Multispecialty Clinic & integrated hospital owned by Mayo Clinic
- Helicopter based in Mankato 24/7, certified level III trauma services
- U/S in the ED, angioplasty 24/7, radiology 24/7, Pac’s
- Consults do the admissions, hospitalists and intensivists on staff
- 30,000 visits to the ED per year
